The future of superyacht design

As the world’s richest get richer, so too does their desire for the ultimate in luxury. This is nowhere more apparent than in the superyacht market. These enormous vessels have been growing ever larger in recent years, as owners attempt to outdo one another with ever more opulent designs. But what will the superyachts of the future look like?

After the stasis of COVID,  we hurtle into the future. Technology is becoming more and more important in our lives. It’s no surprise that the design of superyachts is starting to reflect this. In particular, generative adversarial networking is set to play a big role in the future of yacht design.

So, what is generative adversarial networking? In simple terms, it’s a method of using artificial intelligence to generate new data. This data can be used to train a machine learning algorithm, which can then be used to create a superyacht design that is truly personalised for the owner.

A generative adversarial network (GAN) is a type of artificial intelligence algorithm used to generate new data samples from a training dataset. It is composed of two neural networks, a generative network and a discriminative network, which compete against each other in a game-like fashion. The generative network learns to produce new data samples that are similar to the training data, while the discriminative network tries to classify data as either real or fake. Through this competition, the generative network is able to produce increasingly realistic data samples until the discriminative network can no longer tell them apart from the real data. GANs have been used to generate realistic images, videos, and even three-dimensional objects. They are also being explored

This is an exciting development in the world of superyacht design, and it’s one that we will be keeping a close eye on in the future.
